Say "No, thanks!" to the Senate Tax Cut Bill

Posted 11/20/2017

Join the national day of action to say "No, thanks!" to the Senate Tax Cut Bill. The bill has passed the Senate Finance Committee and Senate leadership hopes to bring it to a vote in the Senate next week. The bill gives massive tax cuts to wealthy individuals and corporations while cutting health care spending now and setting the stage for further cuts in the future. More information here. Three things you can do to oppose this bill:

  • Call Senators Blumenthal (860-258-6940; 202-224-2823) and Murphy (860-549-8463; 202-224-4041). Thank them for continuing to stand firm against this bill. Share your health care story or the story of someone you know. Urge them to work to reauthorize funding for CHIP and health centers.
